Children and their families.

Why did you decide to become a mental health professional?

I saw a need for youth support and wanted to be part of the solution. I started my passion with providing for others by becoming a foster parent. From there it opened my heart to wanting to do more for my community and learn more about mental health, the value of understanding other's stories and dive into healing approaches.

What do you wish people knew about services with you?

I put the therapeutic relationship my first priority in working with youth. We work towards a trusting relationship together as we build goals and help get child and families feeling better. I value each individual that steps into my office and strive for their healing and own success story.

What is your favorite way to take care of your mental health?

Taking care of my mental health is vital to me. I practice yoga throughout my week, engage in breathing activities, and spend time with those I care about. It is important for me to be my best mentally inside and out so I can be my best mentally as a therapist.
